Compensation:
£33,000 annually with a sleep-in shift schedule of 1 day on and 2 days off.


We are looking for a skilled and committed Senior Support Worker to guide and assist our team in delivering exceptional care to children and young people in our residential settings.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of individualized care and therapeutic support, fostering a safe, nurturing, and healing environment that encourages growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute personalized care plans and therapeutic interventions aligned with the recovery model.
  • Assist children and young people in enhancing their social skills, emotional management, and positive behaviors.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting home environment.
  • Establish trusting relationships with children and young people to support their emotional and psychological health.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, supervisions, and performance evaluations to promote staff development and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards.
  • Oversee administrative responsibilities, including documentation, report generation, and scheduling.
Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in a Residential Children's Home setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (mandatory);
  • Valid driving license.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
