Unlike most social care roles, this position does not require working weekends or bank holidays (Mon-Fri 9-5). As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling and supporting personal development and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Enabling and supporting personal development and promotion of independence
  • Liaising with supervisors to identify and work towards targets
  • Providing personal care
  • Collecting and analysing data to monitor progress and adapt learning programmes as necessary
  • Using a calm approach to conflict resolution and behaviour management
Requirements:
  • Child and adult DBS
  • Not barred from working with children
  • Access to own mode of transport due to lack of public transport available
  • Genuine drive for progression within social care
  • Minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
