CONSISTENCY AND RELIABILITY - You will play a crucial role in our student's lives, supporting their learning, routines, and potentially assisting with mobility, feeding/drinking, and personal care as required by your class.

- NURSERY WORKERS and PRACTITIONERS
- CARE WORKERS with experience in dementia, manual handling, and personal care
- CHILDMINDING and BABYSITTING
- VOLUNTEERING in schools, afterschool clubs, holiday clubs, cubs, scouts, etc.
- MIDDAY MEAL SUPERVISORS seeking to transition into the education sector
- LIFE EXPERIENCE as a close family member of someone with SEN, providing you with a natural understanding
This full-time (term time only) Teaching Assistant role starts at 8:45 am and finishes at 3:15 pm. With a competitive daily rate of £79, including payment for working inset days, you'll enjoy a rewarding and fulfilling career. This position also offers a temp-to-perm opportunity after a 12-week probation period.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with children aged 2 to 18 with special educational needs. Each day will be filled with diverse challenges, including supporting non-verbal students who communicate through gestures and behaviour. You will receive the necessary training to meet the individual needs of our students, including medical, mobility, and personal care requirements.
In our school, learning is a blend of play, engagement, and independent choices. You will have the chance to use your initiative to support children in their play and facilitate their learning journey. Alongside a passionate class teacher, you will work together to help each child reach their full potential.
