Position Overview:

The role involves the precise management of financial transactions related to Corporate Parenting, ensuring timely payments to Providers and Carers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all Corporate Parenting financial transactions accurately to ensure prompt payments.
  • Manage the setup of bank and payment details for Providers and Carers within ERP and ContrOCC systems.
  • Assist Providers, Carers, and Corporate Parenting Managers in resolving queries regarding invoices and other payments.
  • Monitor budgets in line with County Council financial protocols, conducting regular checks for accuracy in payments and Commitment Records.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of Direct Payments setup to ensure a clear audit trail.
  • Support effective debt management and provide financial assistance to budget holders as necessary.

Accountabilities:

  • Accurately input all Corporate Parenting payments into the Commitments Records and related systems.
  • Ensure correct recording of contributions from Other Local Authorities and timely invoice generation.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy in financial data across all systems.
  • Provide financial reports to management as required to adhere to regulations.
  • Conduct all duties in compliance with the Council's financial regulations and departmental policies.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in all financial correspondence sent to other Authorities.
  • Set up Suppliers and Carers correctly to facilitate accurate payment processing.
  • Address and resolve queries from Providers and Carers regarding payments and services.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to debt management proactively.
  • Adhere to GDPR regulations and handle sensitive data with care, particularly concerning service users.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience with the ContrOCC system is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Corporate Parenting processes is essential.

Work Arrangement:

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring one day in the office and four days of remote work.
