Business Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at ERT. As a key member of our team, you will provide financial and business administration support to our ERT Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports for large contracts.
  • Develop and maintain accounting and reporting systems, including Contractor Task Plans and NASA 533 financial reports.
  • Prepare internal financial reports, including profit analysis, and coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on financial data.
  • Monitor and track direct costs, including travel, and ensure compliance with government contract regulations.
  • Train administrative support staff and develop systems for maintaining and tracking required documents.
  • Maintain online document repositories and user rights.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, experience with NASA 533 financial reporting, and proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Ability to learn and use financial reporting applications, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organization skills to balance and prioritize work, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Unanet accounting system and Taleo ATS system.

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent.
