About Our Team

PKF-Francis Clark Chartered accountants & business advisers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Plymouth business advisory team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and provide guidance and support to ensure their financial and business needs are met.
  • Lead key relationships with clients and provide trusted advice on financial and business matters.
  • Monitor performance and review working papers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Deliver high-quality accounts and tax compliance services with minimal partner input.
  • Provide tax, accounting, and commercial advice to clients and resolve accounting and tax problems as they arise.
  • Ensure working papers, financial statements, tax returns, and client files are prepared in accordance with the firm's accepted standards.
  • Develop long-term professional relationships with clients by communicating progress, problems, resolutions, financial information, tax activity, and other business concerns.
  • Review significant findings with the engagement partner and identify opportunities to sell additional services to existing clients.

About You

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with significant relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients and assisting partners in maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance.
  • Proven background supervising a team of accounts staff.
  • Organised, accurate, flexible, and able to plan use of time efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with clients, team members, and colleagues, with the ability to quickly build rapport.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
