Neurodiversity Manager Role

At Serco, we are committed to providing exceptional support to our prison residents with neurodivergent needs. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurodiversity Manager to join our team at HMP Fosse Way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive neurodiversity support strategy, ensuring that all prison residents receive tailored support to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that neurodiversity needs are integrated into all aspects of prison life, including education, skills, and work programs.
  • Manage and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, informing the development of targeted interventions and support services.
  • Provide case management and support to prisoners with neurodivergent needs, ensuring that their individual requirements are met and that they receive the necessary accommodations and adaptations.
  • Raise awareness and promote understanding of neurodiversity among prison staff, ensuring that all employees are equipped to provide inclusive and supportive services.
Requirements
  • PGCE, Cert Ed, or Level 5 in Education and Training.
  • Level 4 Certificate in Supporting the Learning of Learners with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) or Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
  • Alternatively, extensive relevant work experience in a custodial setting.
  • Desirable qualifications include Level 4 TAQA qualifications in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes or equivalent.
