Professional Standards Officer

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a highly skilled Professional Standards Officer to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity within the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and service standards.
  • Conduct investigations and audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on professional standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to professional standards.
Requirements:
  • CIPD Advanced Level Qualification or a Level 2 PIP (Professionalising the Investigation Process) or equivalent / relevant demonstrable work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
