Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Boxford. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, providing training on, and servicing and repairing our range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites throughout the UK.

About the Role

This is a permanent role that offers a competitive salary, in-depth product-specific training, and a range of benefits. You will be based on the UK mainland and will be required to commute to our factory near Halifax, as well as travel to customer sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and service Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites
  • Provide training to customers on the use and maintenance of our equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on our equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Laser Cutter and/or Engraver Installation/Service Engineer and Trainer
  • Excellent customer-facing skills and the ability to work with a wide range of customers
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills at component level
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
