Quality Assurance Technician (Nights)

Salary: Approximately £25,500

Shift Pattern: 6pm to 6am, 4 on 4 off

DO YOU HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A FOOD QUALITY OR HANDLING ROLE?

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join a well-established and expanding organization. If you possess prior experience in the food sector within a quality control or related capacity, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular quality assessments on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Verifying the calibration of equipment such as weight checkers and metal detectors.
  • Performing label checks and date coding for finished goods.
  • Executing raw material testing.
  • Completing comprehensive quality evaluations throughout the production process.
  • Undertaking any additional duties as required.

The ideal candidate for this Quality Assurance Technician role will possess:

  • Previous experience in the food industry in a quality role.
  • The full right to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • A valid Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Flexibility with working hours to cover shifts as necessary.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, along with basic IT proficiency.
