Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Finance team at Wickes. The successful candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of our data and fields from source platforms, and how this data can support the wider business with their data needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the business with deep dive detailed analysis relevant to their area, allowing them to make informed decisions.
  • Create user manuals/documents to support non-technical colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain data tables, ensuring that business needs are met.
  • Manage data quality assurance, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality throughout data processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Strong data reporting knowledge, with the ability to understand reporting for varied audiences.
  • Experience of database administration in a multi-user environment.
  • Relevant professional or industry training, including advanced SQL & Data Analysis.
  • 5+ years BI/data experience.
  • Expert with BI Tools.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to translate IT into layman's terms.
