Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to provide advanced analytical support to our Surgery division and Clinical Pathway Groups (CPG). This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely analytics that inform decision-making across the Trust. The successful candidate will lead the integration of CPG analytics into divisional reporting and support Surgery's complex data needs, including theatre data.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive analytical models to support Surgery division and CPG programs.
- Lead the integration of CPG analytics into divisional analysis, ensuring high data integrity and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to identify data needs and provide timely, actionable insights.
- Ensure that all reporting meets internal and external audit requirements, maintaining a high standard of data accuracy.
- Act as a key liaison between the BI team and divisional leadership, supporting strategy through data-driven analysis.
Requirements:
- Graduate or equivalent qualification or experience in a related field.
- High level complex statistical analysis skills, including time trends, standardisation and benchmarking.
- High level of database skills, including SQL/Visual Basic code, relational database design, querying, and reporting functions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act.
