We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Risk and Controls Manager to join our team at NatWest. As a key member of our risk management function, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks across our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our business stakeholders to develop and implement effective risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with our risk appetite and framework.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement, focusing on technology risk and controls.
  • Collaborate with internal audit, second line of defence, and other functions to ensure seamless risk management and control processes.
  • Develop and maintain a risk awareness culture across the organization, promoting a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Manage the interface between business stakeholders, internal audit, and risk management teams, ensuring effective communication and issue escalation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in technology risk management, audit, or controls, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent management skills, with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Knowledge of financial services, retail banking products, processes, and technologies.
  • Experience with digital and technology risk and control assessments, including AWS and Cloud.
  • Experience with IT General Controls and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with technology platforms, applications, and services.
  • Ability to design and implement effective IT controls and automation.
