This position involves a variety of responsibilities, primarily focused on maintaining a secure environment through regular patrols and checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a prominent point of contact for station users, delivering exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, including visitors, contractors, and travelers.
- Conduct routine inspections of the station, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and operational standards, while accurately documenting findings for audit purposes.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents involving the public and industry partners, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
- Act as a liaison for reporting faults within the station, maintaining thorough records and overseeing resolution processes.
- Assist passengers with inquiries and provide information to facilitate their journey through the station.
- Verify that contractors possess the necessary risk assessments and method statements before granting permits for work.
- Collaborate with customers and external authorities to implement strategies aimed at preventing and managing criminal activities within the station.
- Proactively address hazards or unsafe conditions, ensuring all incidents are reported and managed appropriately.
- Execute assigned duties as outlined in Emergency Plans to ensure preparedness and safety.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proficient command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to handle diverse situations with confidence and assertiveness.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Desirable:
- Educational qualifications equivalent to GCSE in English and Mathematics.
