Building Control Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Building Control Surveyor to join our team at ATS Recruitment. As a Building Control Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with building regulations and associated guidance for residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake inspections of works and plan checking to ensure compliance with building regulations.
  • Produce detailed records of all inspections undertaken.
  • Ensure all project records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Carry out duties in accordance with QMS procedures.
  • Deliver a consistent service and build effective client relationships.
  • Provide mentoring and support to trainee and assistant building control surveyors.
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of building regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
