Why You'll Appreciate This Role:
As a Logistics Technician, you will work independently and collaboratively to onboard, manage, and maintain accurate inventory of our Technical Production and Rental Equipment. This role demands a solid technical foundation, particularly in audio-visual equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of equipment and jobs within the warehouse
  • De-preparation of jobs returning to the warehouse
  • Maintaining up-to-date stock controls
  • Onboarding stock and assets into the inventory system
  • Updating the system with findings and stock adjustments
  • Reporting shortages, damages, and discrepancies, and amending records
  • Coordinating repairs or replacements of assets
  • Investigating discrepancies within 24 hours
  • Planning and overseeing technical and scenic installations at events, ensuring safe implementation and removal
  • Managing onsite delivery of technical power, lighting, and sound
  • Flexibility to adjust shifts and participate in weekend stock counts as needed
  • Assisting with general warehouse tasks
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
  • Ensuring efficient storage of technical production equipment
  • Conducting assessments and maintenance of technical production equipment and updating service records
  • Performing PAT testing

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in warehousing and/or inventory management
  • Understanding of technical production, including lighting, power, and sound
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and processes
  • Proactive in enhancing current procedures
  • Proficient in various computer platforms (experience with Google Suite and/or Current RMS is advantageous)
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a 'can do' attitude
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Valid driving license
  • Basic repair skills for equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals for equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Plant tickets - Forklift, picker, telehandler
  • BS7909 qualification
  • Familiarity with Current RMS
  • Knowledge of Chamsys and L Acoustics Network Manager
  • Relevant industry qualifications (plant tickets, health & safety, first aid, etc.)
