We are seeking a part-time Procurement Operations Specialist to become a valuable member of our client's Procurement Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, the successful applicant will be tasked with acquiring goods, materials, and services to meet the operational requirements of the organization. This role emphasizes the importance of balancing price, quality, and delivery to ensure a seamless supply chain and optimal value.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position requiring 18 hours per week, with flexibility in days and hours. Hybrid working arrangements will be available following the completion of the initial training phase.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a procurement environment.
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes and commercial principles.
- Proficient in SAP systems.
- Experience in collaborating closely with suppliers.
- Ability to contribute to cost reduction and business enhancement initiatives.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly advanced Excel skills.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are members of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or are currently pursuing CIPS qualifications.
