About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to join our team at CV Library as a Procurement Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the order fulfillment process, managing procurement activities, and coordinating production planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the order fulfillment process, including customer service and warehouse functions
- Monitor procurement activities, ensuring the most cost-effective methods, maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers
- Co-ordinate the production planning processes
- Support team members, coaching and mentoring whilst leading by example
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, in line with industry standards and requirements
- Oversee transportation and distribution activities, coordinating with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
- Implement inventory control measures and demand forecasting techniques to maintain optimum stock levels
- Identify areas of improvement in the supply chain
- Manage staff workloads, holiday requests, and absences
- Work with HR and other managers to implement company policies
- Create reports
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using supply chain management software, such as ERP, transportation management, and inventory management systems
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Rapport building abilities
- Team leading skills
