About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to join our team at CV Library as a Procurement Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the order fulfillment process, managing procurement activities, and coordinating production planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the order fulfillment process, including customer service and warehouse functions
  2. Monitor procurement activities, ensuring the most cost-effective methods, maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers
  3. Co-ordinate the production planning processes
  4. Support team members, coaching and mentoring whilst leading by example
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety, in line with industry standards and requirements
  6. Oversee transportation and distribution activities, coordinating with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  7. Implement inventory control measures and demand forecasting techniques to maintain optimum stock levels
  8. Identify areas of improvement in the supply chain
  9. Manage staff workloads, holiday requests, and absences
  10. Work with HR and other managers to implement company policies
  11. Create reports

Requirements

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  2. Experience using supply chain management software, such as ERP, transportation management, and inventory management systems
  3. Previous experience in a similar role
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Rapport building abilities
  6. Team leading skills
