About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As a key member of our Children and Families Service, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence, maintaining accurate records, and handling sensitive information.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for enquiries, providing relevant information and directing queries appropriately.
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling of meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing documentation.
  • Support the team by managing office supplies, processing financial transactions, and ensuring efficient operation of office equipment.
  • Participate in and contribute to projects and research as required, supporting the overall aims of the Children and Families Service.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an administrative role, ideally within a local authority or social services environment.
  • Experience in organizing and minuting meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing documents.
  • Experience managing office supplies, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

What We Offer:

Salary: £18+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract Type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
