Category Manager

Rise Resourcing is seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead the development and implementation of category strategies across the construction and building materials sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and category management, with a proven track record of driving profitable sales growth and building strong relationships with suppliers. Key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and executing category plans to achieve sales and margin growth targets
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to drive collaboration and innovation
* Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform category strategies
* Presenting reports and insights to senior management to inform business decisions
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. They will also have a strong understanding of procurement processes and systems, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
