Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Porcelanosa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Resource Planning: Plan and coordinate resources, including materials, labor, and subcontractors, to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all projects are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and best practices, and that all team members are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the project outcomes.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of project coordinators, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a project coordination or management role, preferably in the construction or fit-out industry.
  • Skills: Excellent project management skills, including planning, coordination, and control. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, project management, or business administration.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of health and safety regulations, building control laws, and CDM regulations.
  • Skills: Experience with project management software, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project-related issues.
