Position Overview

The Role:

The Private Client Advice (PCA) division focuses on assessing client and prospect objectives, risk tolerance, existing investment strategies, and frameworks to formulate appropriate asset allocation and benchmark suggestions. This team delivers regulated financial planning guidance concerning pension switches/transfers, bond surrenders, investment taxation, Inheritance Tax Planning, and Lifetime Allowance Planning.

As a PCA Associate, your role will involve assisting team members, Analysts, Tied Agents, and Investment Counsellors in offering regulated and appropriate advice to both potential and current clients of Fisher Investments Europe. You will gain insights from data to inform your recommendations. You will report directly to your Team Leader, who will support your professional growth and training.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Draft and organize written proposals by gathering client data, utilizing information from external vendors, and performing analyses based on current assets, including running portfolio simulations.
  • Conduct tax wrapper evaluations for bond surrenders, gather necessary details from pension and investment bond providers, and prepare transfer/surrender documentation.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure seamless case transitions.
  • Engage in ad hoc group initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Utilize MS Access, Word, Excel (performing advanced functions), and Adobe to tailor proposals and generate comprehensive reports.

Qualifications:

  • A University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and investment principles or relevant industry certifications is preferred.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work within established timelines.
  • Willingness to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment to support a high volume of output.
