Job Title: Technical Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS (JDE). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on technical training to our associates at the Banbury Plant.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in the FMCG sector, and a strong background in training, coaching, and assessment methodology. You will be responsible for planning and organizing both internal and external training requirements, as well as monitoring and improving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to competence management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver hands-on, one-to-one or group training to a best-in-class standard, and deploy the train the trainer approach within the plant, for theoretical and practical learning solutions.
  • Maintain a relationship with external training providers to ensure a value-adding service and service level (according to the service level agreement) is achieved.
  • Actively update, monitor, and improve on KPIs, process, and system related to competence management.
  • Support flexibility within the manufacturing areas in the plant by leveraging the development of associates to successfully operate multiple machines.
Requirements:
  • Relevant training or instructor qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferably FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) Experience in training, coaching, and assessment methodology.
  • Excellent planning skills with the ability to ruthlessly prioritize.
