About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sourcing and Procurement to join our team at Castlefield Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality goods and services.
  • Procurement Management: Manage and oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a small team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of procurement projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and development, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in strategic procurement roles, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and legislation.
  • Qualifications: MCIPS qualified or equivalent, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of procurement professionals.
