SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs and challenging behaviour.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour, and have learning disabilities such as Autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with special educational needs and challenging behaviour
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop individualised learning plans
  • Assist with behaviour management and provide positive reinforcement
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

We are looking for a confident, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's education. Ideally, the successful candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and some form of restraint training.
