Regional Engineering Lead

We invite you to join our team as a Regional Engineering Lead, where you will guide a vibrant engineering team in delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet deadlines, stay within budget, and adhere to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Development & Implementation: Execute the Engineering Components of the Project Execution Strategy, taking into account comprehensive lifecycle requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Recognize and alleviate design, technical, and safety risks through interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Hazard Control: Formulate and enforce a balanced hazard management approach.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Guarantee compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, fulfilling Principal Designer Responsibilities under relevant regulations.
  • Scope Management: Define, oversee, and report on technical scope, managing product development effectively.
Qualifications

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven Success: A track record of successful engineering delivery and leadership.
  • Engineering Design Expertise: Extensive experience in engineering design settings.
  • Experience in Regulated Environments: Recent involvement in regulated, quality-assured systems (preferably in the nuclear sector).
  • Educational Background: Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (minimum HNC, MEng preferred).
  • Professional Accreditation: Membership in a relevant Engineering or Scientific Institution (minimum Incorporated Engineer, Chartered Engineer preferred).

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Industry Regulations: Familiarity with nuclear industry regulations or equivalent standards.
  • Technological Proficiency: Experience with Technological Readiness Levels and technology development frameworks.
  • Requirements Management Knowledge: Understanding of Requirements Management/System Engineering principles.
  • Certifications: INCOSE ASEP / CSEP certification.
