Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nightshift Team Leader to join our team at ABM in St Enoch, Glasgow. As a Nightshift Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning staff to ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times. You will also be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety standards, ensuring equipment is used, cleaned, maintained and stored correctly, and dealing with any management requests promptly and courteously.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of cleaning staff to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards and ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all equipment is used, cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
  • Deal with any management requests promptly and courteously.
  • Plan and coordinate the work of the team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and report on team performance and provide feedback to employees.
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of new team members.
  • Ensure that all team members are familiar with and adhere to the Company's Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Leadership skills and experience of leading a team.
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
