Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Strategic Finance Manager – Financial Planning/MTFS in leading the development and delivery of medium-term financial planning, coordination of the Council's annual budget process, and alignment with Corporate and Service planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the development and delivery of medium-term financial planning, coordination of the Council's annual budget process, and alignment with Corporate and Service planning processes.
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partners to ensure regular reporting to the council's leadership, improving current processes, and providing insights to decision-makers.
  • Coordinate financial monitoring and reporting processes across the Council, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and provide information that aligns financial and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement financial mitigations to ensure the Council's financial sustainability in a complex and financially challenged authority.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with Senior Leaders and Finance Business Partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
