DaVita International, a leading provider of kidney and dialysis care, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join its Risk Function on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to the Head of Risk and contribute to strategic risk management initiatives across global operations.
- Enhance DaVita's risk management framework by collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure risk is embedded into all aspects of decision-making.
- Monitor risks, controls, and key risk indicators, providing second-line assurance and challenge on root causes and remediation of risk events.
- Lead the identification of trends and themes from risk events and support risk assessment activities at both international and country levels.
- Assist the Head of Risk with the delivery of key functional priorities, including governance and oversight of first-line operations.
- Support the preparation and facilitation of the quarterly Risk Management Committee, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
- Conduct risk management training sessions and ensure operations are aligned with DaVita's risk appetite.
- Perform control testing and root cause analysis to improve risk response and mitigation efforts.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business in collaboration with the Head of Risk.
- Act as a trusted advisor on risk-related matters to senior executives, including the International President and CEO.
- ~2+ years of experience in Risk Management or Audit, ideally within a global or multi-location organisation.
- ~ Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to structure ambiguous problems, generate and test hypotheses, and develop creative solutions.
- ~ Proven ability to build trust-based relationships and work effectively across business functions, diverse teams, and multi-location stakeholders.
- ~ Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills to juggle competing workstreams and follow up effectively on multiple tasks.
- ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
- ~ An innovation mindset—able to approach problems from multiple perspectives and generate creative, forward-thinking solutions.
