Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Defence CSOC, you will be responsible for working with our Principal Manager/Team/Functional Leads to improve security operations and address identified deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the analytical approach applied by all levels of Security Analysts is thorough, considered, and comprehensive.
  2. Act as primary technical subject matter expert for security alert investigation.
  3. Create management reports to help analyze and triage problems.
  4. Provide analysis and assistance where appropriate during incident investigation.
  5. Rotate on-call duties for after-hours support.

Requirements:

  1. Strong communication skills and experience with working with stakeholders across a large enterprise.
  2. Strong analytical skills around identifying modern offensive techniques.
  3. Experience investigating computer network intrusions in an enterprise.
  4. Experience with SIEM technologies, to find and identify suspect events in large telemetry sets.
  5. Experience with investigating intrusions in Linux and cloud environments.
  6. Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  7. Strong technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and a wide range of security technologies from network sensors to endpoint protection suites.
