Senior GIS Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Specialist to join our project delivery team in London on a 6-month contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering services across a portfolio of oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and manipulate geospatial data to support project delivery.
  2. Prepare concept and detail design for onshore pipeline projects using GIS.
  3. Produce GIS-derived deliverables associated with onshore pipeline projects.
  4. Provide technical support and assistance to project teams.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in GIS or a related field.
  2. Experience in the GIS industry, with a proven track record of applying geospatial techniques.
  3. Advanced understanding of ESRI software and geospatial data management.
  4. Ability to convert text-based data into geospatial data.
  5. High-level understanding of Python and spatial development technologies.
  6. Familiarity with automated drawing production using GIS-based tools.
  7. Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and present geospatial data to meet client requirements.
  8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
