Job Title: Construction Site Assistant Manager

Location: Coseley

Thorn Baker Construction, a renowned leader in the housing sector, is seeking a dedicated Construction Site Assistant Manager to enhance our dynamic Construction team. With a legacy of excellence spanning over fifty years, we are committed to delivering superior design, construction, and service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete project lifecycle from initial planning to final completion.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external subcontractors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prioritize the safety and welfare of all personnel and visitors on site.
  • Identify and address any issues related to processes, methodologies, or data, contributing to the development of comprehensive solutions with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities during construction to identify and report any damage to management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in the timber frame residential construction sector.
  • Familiarity with NHBC or LABC/Premier standards.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Valid UK Driving License.
  • Current CSCS Card, with SMSTS and First Aid at Work certifications preferred.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision is desirable; however, training will be provided.
