Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure timely completion in accordance with specifications and safety regulations, while adhering to company standards.
- Conduct quality and safety inspections to ensure compliance with control standards and Group guidelines.
- Coordinate effectively with external stakeholders, including warranty providers, local authorities, and utility companies, to facilitate the build program.
- Maintain comprehensive records related to the development, including staff inductions, health and safety documentation, timesheets, incident reports, and quality control checklists.
- Ensure timely procurement and proper storage of materials in line with Group protocols.
- Lead and manage the workforce, including subcontractors, to guarantee that work is completed on schedule, meets quality expectations, and stays within budget.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Care, to achieve operational targets, including the prompt resolution of customer inquiries and timely updates on project progress.
- Enforce compliance with the Group Health, Safety, and Environment Policy among the site workforce and visitors to minimize incidents.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in the timber frame housing construction sector.
- Familiarity with NHBC standards.
- Previous achievements in the Pride in the Job competition are preferred.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Valid UK Driving License.
- Current CSCS Card, ideally with SMSTS and First Aid at Work certifications.
- Minimum NVQ Level 6 qualification in Construction Management is preferred.
