Key Responsibilities- Design and develop safety-critical, real-time software for electronic/mechanical systems.
- Develop and maintain software using Real-Time programming, multitasking, profiling, and operating systems (e.g., VxWorks, RTOS).
- Work with embedded C, C#.net, and C++ programming languages.
- Utilize scripting (PERL, Python) and microcontroller/microprocessor tools (e.g., IAR Systems, Visual Studio).
- Implement continuous integration and software testing.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 62304 standards.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain version control (JIRA, SVN), Object-Oriented programming (UML), software quality tools (PClint, Vectorcast), and build systems (Jenkins).
- 2+ years of experience in safety-critical, real-time software for electronic/mechanical systems.
- Strong experience in Real-Time programming, multitasking, profiling, and operating systems.
- Embedded C is essential, C#.net is preferred, and C++ is beneficial.
- Skilled in scripting and microcontroller/microprocessor tools.
- Experience with continuous integration and software testing.
- Knowledge of IEC 62304 standards.
- Familiarity with version control, Object-Oriented programming, software quality tools, and build systems.
Up to £45,000 + benefits, depending on experience. A supportive team environment dedicated to helping you enhance your skills and advance your career, offering flexible hybrid working options or fully remote with the requirement of monthly site visits.
