Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business and Finance Administrator to provide administrative and financial support to our operational services and the wider business. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an operational or administrative support capacity, preferably in a consultancy setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Financial Controller with sales and purchase ledger management, financial tasks, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Maintain and manage the supplier register, ensuring due diligence and compliance.
  • Be responsible for maintaining our client and procurement portals, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Undertake a range of financial support processes, including processing orders, procurement of items, sales and purchase ledger entries, and other financial tasks.
  • Assist with HR matters, including arrangements and support for new starters, and the administration of employee benefits.
  • Ensure minutes and actions from meetings are issued, maintained, and stored in an appropriate manner.
  • Coordinate travel, meetings, conferences, and events, including research and planning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably in a consultancy setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with experience in sales and purchase ledger management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
