Page Personnel Finance is partnering with a successful business to find a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their accountancy team on a full-time permanent basis.

Our client is a rapidly growing business based in Southampton, requiring occasional travel to their offices and offering a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an accurate end-to-end payroll service
  • Process multiple client payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Respond to client queries related to pay
  • Reconcile PAYE and pension payments at month-end
  • Administer auto-enrolment and process related tasks
  • Provide solutions for client payroll queries
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation changes
  • Verify and confirm the accuracy of documentation received from clients
  • Submit relevant payroll forms online to HMRC as required
  • Manage client administration, including billing
  • Support other areas of the practice with payroll and PAYE queries

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of workplace pensions
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and telephone communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly adapt to new software
  • Motivation to learn and progress career

Job Offer:

Salary £25,000 - £32,000
