Branch Manager - Christchurch

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a Branch Manager in Christchurch. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the financial performance of the branch, leading a customer-focused team, and strategically planning the allocation of resources to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the branch's financial performance, ensuring effective cost control, budget variance analysis, and accurate forecasting.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales colleagues, and other stakeholders to deliver outstanding service.
  4. Lead by example in managing key performance metrics, such as utilisation, claims, Customer DIFOT, safety, and customer service.
  5. Champion a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards across the branch and network.

Requirements:

  1. Proven people-centric leadership experience
  2. Thought leadership with sound commercial acumen
  3. 5+ years' experience in a similar leadership position
  4. Proven capability with planning and delivering to that plan
  5. Laser focus on revenue growth
  6. An analytical mind that can interpret data to use in decision making
  7. Prior experience working in the transport and freight industry
  8. Excellent communication skills
  9. Sound ability to network and build strong working relationships
