Forensic Psychologist Opportunity at HMP Ashfield

Join Serco Plc in delivering essential public services and contribute to the reintegration of ex-offenders back into society. As a Forensic Psychologist at HMP Ashfield, you will play a vital role in helping individuals address the factors that influence their offending behaviour.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Forensic Psychologist to join our team at HMP Ashfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering psychological services, including:

  • Completing psychological assessments and reports
  • Providing individual work and therapy sessions
  • Managing and supervising forensic psychologists-in-training and programmes staff
  • Conducting research and consulting with other prison staff
  • Ensuring all activities adhere to the Code of Conduct of the British Psychological Society (BPS)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Forensic Psychology or a related field
  • Experience in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with offenders and other professionals
