Position Overview
As a Logistics Operative at Culina Group, you will play a vital role in the transportation and management of goods within our warehouse environment. Your expertise in shunting and warehouse operations will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of products. Key responsibilities include receiving, selecting, and consolidating customer orders utilizing advanced warehouse management systems. It is imperative to uphold the efficiency of product movement in and out of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow established protocols for loading and unloading operations
- Complete necessary documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments
- Report any issues related to trailers or material handling equipment in accordance with company guidelines
- Accurately pick and assemble products for dispatch
- Ensure loads are securely prepared before departure from the loading area
- Achieve the company's productivity benchmarks
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the workplace
- Process customer returns and communicate with the Stock Controller
- Provide assistance to Stock Controllers and team members as required
Qualifications:
- Capability to operate in a temperature-controlled environment
- Experience in fast-paced operational settings
- Strong verbal and numerical skills
- Dependable and diligent work ethic
- Possession of a Class 1 or 2 driving license is essential
