Our client is a prominent and fast-paced private medical practice with multiple locations in London. As the Clinic Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, concentrating on appointment scheduling, resource management, and improving the overall patient journey.


Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will work closely with her to enhance workflows and ensure operational effectiveness. This position is highly interactive and demands strong teamwork across the clinic as it expands.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain constructive relationships with the clinical team, addressing their needs while aligning with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to manage their schedules and ensure adequate clinic staffing.
  • Maximise clinic resources, including rooms, equipment, and clinician availability, through strategic scheduling.
  • Oversee clinic schedules, ensuring accurate appointment lists and promptly resolving any scheduling conflicts or adjustments.
  • Assess resource needs and provide recommendations to balance demand with supply.
  • Review and refine workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to boost efficiency and enhance the patient experience.
  • Collaborate with the management team to evaluate pricing from key suppliers.
  • Source and engage external services, optimising costs while ensuring value.
  • Assist in resource planning to support the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Work with clinicians to enhance availability and streamline onboarding processes.
  • Propose pricing strategies and analyse patient feedback to optimise revenue and service offerings.
  • Utilise operational software to improve efficiency and generate reports on resource utilisation and operational performance.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in operations management within a clinical or healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Familiarity with technology used in clinic operations, including Excel and patient management systems.
  • Positive attitude, strong administrative skills, and a customer-focused approach.
  • High attention to detail and discretion regarding sensitive information.
