We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the ward/department team.
Key Responsibilities- Support and Work Under Direction: Implement prescribed care and undertake higher-level clinical activities as directed by a registered nurse.
- Mentor and Supervise: Health Care Assistants and provide guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide quality care.
- Lead and Coordinate: Clinical and non-clinical tasks and responsibilities undertaken by Health Care Assistants, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered.
- Support Ward Staff: Collaborate with ward staff to provide a high-quality service and ensure the smooth operation of the ward/department.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience working as a Health Care Assistant in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under direction and as part of a team.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
