Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Junior Land Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic Land team. This role will be pivotal in supporting the Land Director in achieving strategic objectives related to land procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying viable development prospects through comprehensive analysis of statutory development frameworks, housing land assessments, and potential zoning changes.
  • Collaborate with Land Managers and Buyers to facilitate site acquisitions, overseeing the process from initial identification through to contract finalization and planning.
  • Engage with Sales, Technical teams, and external consultants as necessary during the land evaluation and bidding phases.
  • Maintain and monitor the Division's land database, ensuring accurate site registrations, development plans, and submitted offers.
  • Support the Development Director on significant projects and undertake additional relevant tasks as required.
  • Participate in community engagement initiatives as needed.
  • Uphold and promote the core values, systems, policies, and procedures of the organization.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar land management capacity within the residential construction sector. A solid understanding of land acquisition processes, including market analysis, technical assessments, and legal considerations, is essential.
