Fusion People Ltd is seeking a Lead Land Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic Land team.
The team plays a crucial role in pinpointing and securing prime locations for upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Land Director, contributing to the Division's success by assisting in the acquisition of a robust land portfolio to meet strategic objectives.
- Identify viable development prospects through various channels, including detailed analysis of statutory development frameworks, housing land assessments, potential zoning changes, and collaboration with agents.
- Support Land Managers and Buyers in the site acquisition process, overseeing multiple acquisitions from initial identification through due diligence, negotiation, contract finalization, and planning stages.
- Collaborate with relevant internal departments, such as Sales and Technical, and engage external consultants as necessary during the land evaluation and bidding phases.
- Maintain and oversee the Division's land database, ensuring accurate site registrations, development plans, and submitted offers.
- Expand and nurture the Division's network of key contacts, including land agents and property owners.
- Assist the Development Director with significant projects and other pertinent tasks as required.
- Support the Development Director in ensuring the Land team is adequately resourced and effectively guided, with clear job responsibilities and comprehensive support for achieving objectives.
- Facilitate appropriate reporting to the Managing Director and Divisional Board, ensuring timely and precise production of Land Packs for approval.
- Engage with the community as needed.
- Uphold and promote the Group's values, systems, policies, and procedures.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Lead Land Acquisition Manager or in a comparable Land Management position within the residential development sector.
Familiarity with all facets of land acquisition, including offer optimization, market analysis, and the technical, commercial, and legal dimensions of the process is essential.
Strong geographical awareness and excellent negotiation skills are required. A relevant degree in Land Management or Residential Development is advantageous.
