Join Our Team as a Qualified Social Worker - Assessment Team

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker - Assessment Team to join our team in Gloucestershire Council. As a key member of our Social Care team, you will be responsible for conducting initial assessments and core assessments, as well as contributing to the duty rota and initiating care proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments and core assessments to identify the needs of children and families
  • Contribute to the duty rota to ensure the effective management of cases
  • Initiate care proceedings to protect the welfare of children
  • Work in a multi-agency capacity to support families and children
  • Prepare and present reports to conferences and courts
Requirements:
  • Post-qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker - Assessment Team within the UK Social Care industry
  • HCPC registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
