About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Wiltshire Health and Care LLP. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, supporting their physical and emotional needs, and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide essential care to patients, including maintaining personal hygiene, continence, mobility, nutrition, and hydration.
  • Support patients in their recovery, promoting rehabilitation and encouraging them to regain and maintain as much independence as possible.
  • Monitor and record patient observations, ECGs, and phlebotomy, as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a care or health role.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade D or above, or Level 1 functional skills in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Desirable: QCF or NVQ Level 2 in a health-related subject, Care Certificate.
