About the Role

Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high standards of personal care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes that may impact their care and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Be involved in person-centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements, ensuring accurate administration and monitoring.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are escalated.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, with at least 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
