About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Savernake Ward in Savernake Community Hospital, Marlborough. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients, promoting their independence and well-being.
Main Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential care to patients, including maintaining personal hygiene, continence, mobility, nutrition, and hydration. You will also support patients in their recovery, promoting rehabilitation and encouraging them to regain and maintain as much independence as possible.
Additional Opportunities
In addition to providing essential care and support, you will have the opportunity to develop additional skills, including monitoring and recording patient observations, ECGs, and phlebotomy. We will support you in completing the Care Certificate while working with us, embedding your practice and learning, and supporting ongoing development.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team that includes nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, healthcare assistants, rehabilitation support workers, advanced clinical practitioners, and doctors.
