About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Savernake Ward in Savernake Community Hospital, Marlborough. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients, their families, and carers.

Main Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing essential care to meet the needs of patients in the ward. This will include assisting with personal hygiene, continence, mobility, nutrition, and hydration. You will also support patients in their recovery, promoting rehabilitation and encouraging them to regain and maintain as much independence as possible.

Additional Opportunities

In addition to providing essential care and support, you will have the opportunity to develop additional skills, including monitoring and recording patient observations, ECGs, and phlebotomy. We will also support you in completing the Care Certificate while working with us, to embed your practice and learning and support ongoing development.
