As an Accommodation Operations Coordinator at Butlin's, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end planning of our accommodation availability and cleaning. Reporting to the Accommodation Productivity Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the forecast of room bookings by type and ensuring all room bookings are allocated on time and accurately, adhering to notes and paid for upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the status of rooms at any given time, ensuring all rooms allocated are fit for use.
- Maintain a level of service recovery rooms, ensuring Resort teams have backup rooms available when problems arise.
- Work to the required number of rooms on sale.
- Communicate directly with Accommodation & Guest Services Team Members, ensuring Resort understands the status of rooms ready for check-in.
- Follow documented standard operating procedures when processing requests for Entertainment/Internal or External Visitors, ensuring a fully audited process for zero-cost bookings is adhered to at all times.
- Communicate with key room team effectively and in a timely manner any changes or amendments to allocations.
- Ensure all booked add-ons and special requests are identified and planned for accordingly.
- Work alongside Accommodation and Facilities teams to plan for refurbishment works in accommodation units.
About You
We are looking for a warm, friendly, and organized individual who loves to chat to people both face-to-face and over the phone. As a great team player, you should enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and be happy to try new things. You should be able to have effective communication, work under pressure and to deadlines, and hold an analytical mind. You should also enjoy organization and methodical planning, be able to adapt when problems arise, and resolve them with close attention to detail.
We require some flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as our resorts are open during these times. This is a permanent full-time role covering 40 hours per week.
