Resort Operations Director

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Resort General Manager to join our Bognor Regis team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced leader with a proven track record in managing large-scale, guest-focused operations.
You will report directly to the Resort Director and work closely with Senior Leaders from across the resort to drive operational excellence, exceed guest expectations, and achieve outstanding Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and rebook rates.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will have direct responsibility for Senior Leaders and their teams across various departments, including Retail Bars, Retail Shops, Quick Service Restaurants, Restaurants, Buffets, Sports & Activities, and our new £15m Play Xperience Activity Centre.
Your primary focus will be on setting effective objectives, coaching, and developing high-performing teams that embody our values and business goals through PDPs.
In collaboration with your team, you will prioritize sales initiatives, drive revenue growth, create robust action plans to meet EBITDA targets, enhance NPS, reduce problem scores, and minimize labor turnover while maintaining payroll efficiency.
A successful candidate will possess substantial experience in similar-level operational roles, preferably as an existing General Manager or Senior Manager/Area Manager with extensive background in the hospitality or leisure industry.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, influencing their direct leadership team and wider teams to align with our objectives while prioritizing guest satisfaction.
This role requires solid experience in strategic planning, budgets, payroll, and NPS management, as well as compliance and process management expertise.
You should enjoy working collaboratively, taking initiative, and leveraging specialist knowledge within your team to inform decision-making.

What We Offer
